This place is decorated so nicely and it smells amazing as soon as you walk in. We had stopped going to the other Mexican restaurants in Terrell because they weren’t very good, but this place is awesome. I wish we knew about it sooner. We saw it by chance driving by. The menu has so many good options, we wanted to try many things. We got the queso, which was delicious, the enchiladas, and cheese tacos. All great. The drinks were very strong and they have beautiful presentation. The waitress checked on us all the time to make sure we had everything we needed. They leave a carafe of water at your table to refill your drinks. Will definitely be visiting again so we can try more things from the menu.

Daisy was out waitress. The service we received from her was outstanding. Great food. The carne asada was top tier. Cooked perfectly. The charro beans were so flavorful as well. Good sized portions. Drinks and chips and salsa were refilled without hesitation. The salsa was a little on the more spicy side than I normally eat but the flavor was phenomenal. For the first time I didn't have to add salt or pepper. It was seasoned well. I swear someone's abuelita was in the back cooking food she's cooked for 70 years. It was our first time eating there and for sure won't be our last. Think this is where we will have date night from now on. Oh and they have cute back drops to take pictures in front of. Wonderful experience. Hate we hadn't tried it sooner. They are only open until 5 on Sundays. I don't know what the noodles with green sauce was but dayummm I'm sold.

10 out 10 highly recommend! Rosa's Mexican Cocina is the real deal! NOT to be confused with the chain restaurant Rosa's cafe. This tiny little restaurant, near Terrell, off of the interstate, is well worth the stop. Delicious from start to finish. Crispy, perfectly salted chips, served with freshly made salsa, that has just the right kick of heat. Their birria empanadas are out of this world. Four comes to an order, flaky, golden brown pastry with perfectly seasoned filling and a side of dipping sauce. Also tried their sour cream chicken enchiladas that truly are some of the best I've had in a long time. Lots of other dishes on the menu as well. No corners cut, just perfectly executed, tasty, delicious, reasonable Mexican food! They also look like they have a well stocked bar. Just had the sweet tea and it was great, too! If the food alone isn't enough of an attraction, make it a day trip for lunch and shopping. It's near outlet mall and Buc-ees!

We ordered the Birria Empanadas & loaded queso. Both were tasty and the consomme added another flavorful layer. The atmosphere was a bit elevated from the norm in the area, which we appreciate. Our server, Jaci, was a delight and very attentive. Thank you guys for your hospitality this evening. We’ll be back.

Always fresh and authentic Mexican food. Have NEVER had anything but great food and service. Lots of Hispanics and local law enforcement eat here. It's the best in Terrell. I eat Mexican food a lot so trust me when I say this place is really that good! Ceviche is amazing!!!

Rosa's: Home of the World's Best Chili Relleno! It's official: Rosa's has earned the prestigious "BEST CHILI RELLENO in the World" award! And trust me, coming from someone who orders a chili relleno almost every time they have Mexican food, that's high praise. We stumbled upon Rosa's on our way home from Ham Orchards, and what a delightful surprise it was. This is a true family-owned establishment, with Mama herself still orchestrating the magic in the kitchen. We even had the pleasure of meeting and thanking the owner on our way out. The dining experience began with thin, crispy chips and a warm, homemade salsa that set a high bar. Our server, JC, was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. But let's get back to the star of the show: the chili relleno. We opted for the cheese relleno, smothered in a creamy sour cream sauce and fresh salsa. Each bite was an absolute revelation – one of those moments where you can't help but utter a satisfied "mmmmmmmmm!" If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Rosa's for an authentic Mexican treat. You won't be disappointed!

The food are good portions, I tried the Chimis, delicious and the cheese is very savory. We tried the tacos de birria, the sopes, pollo a plancha, all has great taste! The waitress was attentive to everything. Will be back another time! Thank you guys!
